Dietmar Kohl has been working in the field of Corporate Finance/ M&A since 1999. He joined the M&A team of DZ BANK in January 2013 and has since been responsible for the Food & Beverage and Transport & Logistics sectors. Dietmar has advised on numerous national and international transactions in a wide range of industries over a period of more than twenty years.

Prior to joining DZ BANK, Dietmar spent several years in the Investment Banking/M&A of BNP Paribas and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as well as in Corporate Finance/M&A of the former HSH Nordbank.

Dietmar holds a degree in engineering and studied industrial engineering and management at the Technical Universities of Braunschweig and Berlin. In addition, Dietmar spent two years at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris as part of his studies, where he obtained the academic degree "Diplôme d'Ingénieur".  

Jogging in the woods, skiing in the Alps and spending relaxing hours with his family are among Dietmar's great passions.
